Real Estate Training Q and A

I know that there are a lot of people out there that have individual questions in regards to real estate training and/or licensing.  So I thought that it might be fun to have a Q and A session, where visitors can write me with their questions and get a direct response posted right here on the blog.

Not only will that answer up your questions, but it also leaves the answer available to anyone else whom may be asking the same questions.  So how does this work?  Well, if you have any real estate related questions that you would like answered by me send me a message with your question and your email address so that I can notify you when the answer is published.  That’s it!

How to Lose Your Real Estate License

I truly hope that there are not to many people (involved in real estate or otherwise) out there like the one found in the video below.  But I wanted to post this just as a reminder of what not to do in the position of a real estate agent or any professional for that matter.


Was that disgusting enough?  Please treat clients fairly and as you would want to be treated and if you know of an agent discriminating against anyone, make a report and let justice take care of them.

Real Estate License: Video Spotlight

Hey everyone!  I have decided to try and publish some short posts that include videos for you to watch and learn from.  I know that sometimes its nice to kick back and watch than it is to read, you also are able to get a different perspective that way.

Why You Would Want to Become a Real Estate Agent

I figured that for my first post at my new blog I would cover why one might want to become a real estate agent.  I know that to some of you it seems like a pretty silly question, because you couldn’t imagine yourself doing anything else.  But there are some people out there that may just not realize the true benefits of of a career in real estate, this post is for those people.

There are a lot of great things about working in real estate.  Though I am sure that some people would be quick to tell you the bad aspects, I would say that in my experience (15 years as a real estate agent), the good far outweighs the bad.  Here are some of my favorite things about selling real estate:

  • You can set your own hours
  • You have the potential of making lots of money, no salary caps like other professions
  • You are your own boss
  • Its fairly easy once you understand the groundwork
  • You get to work with great people and meet new ones all of the time
  • You in a way are making peoples dreams come true, by selling them their dream house
  • Work with other motivated people
Well how is that for starters?  If you have ever wanted to run your own business, make good money and work the hours that you want or that fit around your schedule, real estate is a great, cost effective way to go about it.  Getting your real estate license is really quite easy and there are some excellent resources online that will help you for free. I would suggest doing a search on Google for some great sites that offer free real estate licensing information online.
